You can control premature ejaculation with the use of desensitizers or drugs. However, controlling means learning to read the signs your body gives you, knowing the moment of ejaculation, and pulling back from that point. This method is the “start/stop technique.” It is also best to practice this exercise daily.

Start by masturbating, stroking your penis up and down. Pay attention to the physical sensations in pelvic and penis area while masturbating. Don’t think about premature ejaculation or trying to last longer. Be aware of the “tickling” sensation just before ejaculation. When you know how that feels, concentrate on the feelings that occur before this stage, when you can still stop ejaculation.

Familiarize yourself with the “tickling” sensation. Pay attention to how your body feels as you get more excited and recognized the “tickling” feelings and do this for the next three times you masturbate. Don’t stop ejaculating; just determine the “tickling” feeling and the sensation before the tickling. Once telling when the “tickling” sensation arrives, you are ready to start the exercises. Don’t use sex toys while doing such exercises and try not to fantasize more than necessary.

Masturbate until you start feeling turned on then stop the stimulation for at least 15 seconds. Concentrate on the feelings of decreasing excitement in the body. Be aware of how your penis and pelvic area feel and how that changes when you stop stimulation. Masturbate again. Start and stop periodically until you feel you are nearer to the “tickling” stage. When you feel getting close to ejaculation, stop until you feel you are back in control.

You may lose your erection when you stop stimulation. If your lose it, just start again. When you regain that erection, focus on your body and bring yourself to the “tickling” point three times. After this, just masturbate until you ejaculate.

Repeat this exercise daily. As you do this daily and are familiar with the “tickling” sensations, you will notice two things. First, the time you have to wait to regain control will gradually decrease. Second, the time you can continue stimulation between stops will increase.

Increase the number of times you stop stimulating yourself until you have reached six. Once you can do the entire exercise six times, begin to practice this daily. A good oil- or water-based lubricant helps once you have mastered the exercises. Include your partner in your exercises once you feel confident and comfortable.
